"Through the fire and flames" by a band called Dragonforce. without a doubt, one of the...if not the BEST guitar solos I've seen. if Baimun could only play like this...

Personnaly, I think they do have a certain talent for melody on the vocals but it sounds like they recorded the song, fasten the track and the guy recorded the vocal after. I hear a good song there but the bumble bee guitar sound and helicopter drum beat really bugs me.
yeah thats great stuff also Drau
and Porthos, maybe, just maybe they're just THAT DAMN GOOD! I'm sure if you saw them live you'd know. I dont see a band doing anything that drastic to their first hit song that they are sure to play live. I would hope the days of Millie-Vanilie are over.
I didn't meant that it's a recording trick, I just mean that it's how it sounds and thats whats bugging me about em. The music sounds like when you're fast forwarding a tape but just holding the switch half way to still hear the sound of what you'Re fastforwarding.

Dragonforce are indeed able to pull this shit off live without any problems - even faster.
and damn I hate their guts because that feedle-gneedle fretboard wanking totally guts my nerves, hahaha
to me its amazing that they can move their fingers like that. hell now days you hardly even hear guitar solos anymore.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">that's unfortunately very true. The good ol' solo has somehow never left the more traditional areas of hard music. The mainstream stuff usually only has funny Bryan Adams guitar solos - if any, hahahaOriginally posted by Chaserfan:
